Vinicius Jr has seen multiple approaches from Al-Hilal, and the Saudi Pro League side are now set to make another major approach for the Brazilian.
- Al-Hilal Club looking to make move for Vinicius
- Saudi side is very unsure about Neymar’s future
- Real Madrid not concerned about a bid
WHAT HAPPENED?
Vinicius has been on top of the world over the last few seasons as the Real Madrid star has established himself as one of the best players in the world. The Brazilian is considered one of the favourites to win the Ballon d’Or in 2024. However, his time in Europe could be cut short soon.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
As per Marca, Al-Hilal are pondering making yet another major offer to Real Madrid for Vinicius as they are unsure about Neymar’s future at the club with his contract at the Saudi Arabian side set to expire next summer. The Saudi Pro League champions also attempted to make a move for Vinicius in the summer as they looked to improve their side ahead of the season but saw their attempts thwarted.
DID YOU KNOW?
Madrid are reportedly aware of the threat posed by Al-Hilal for their star winger, but the report suggests that the 15-time Champions League winners are not worried due to Vinicius’ €1 billion (£840m/$1.1bn) release clause. Los Blancos believe that the 24-year-old wants to stay in the Spanish capital and has no doubts in his mind.
WHAT NEXT FOR VINICIUS?
The 24-year-old did not join his national team due to fitness concerns and will therefore only return to action when Real Madrid take on Celta Vigo on October 20 at the Estadio de Balaidos.
